Premium Olympic Curl Bar — 700 lb Capacity

A More Comfortable Approach to Arm Training

The 8848Athletics Premium Olympic Curl Bar is designed to make focused bicep and tricep work a natural part of your routine. Its curved shaft provides angled hand positions that may feel more comfortable on your wrists than a straight bar, particularly during curls and extensions.

Choose the grip position that suits your movement and maintain control through every repetition.

Versatility Beyond the Standard Curl

Add variety to your accessory sessions with standing curls, reverse curls, preacher curls and lying tricep extensions. The compact shape also offers an alternative grip for selected rowing movements.

With a 30 lb starting weight, you can track your total load easily and add plates as your strength progresses.

Smooth Rotation and Secure Construction

Bronze bushings support sleeve rotation as the bar changes position, allowing your plates to turn independently of the shaft. A snap ring assembly retains the sleeves, while consistent knurling provides a dependable gripping surface for controlled training.

Built for Regular Use

The alloy steel construction carries a 700 lb rated load capacity. A black E-coat finish protects the shaft, while bright zinc sleeves provide corrosion resistance and a clean contrast.

Each 10.5-inch sleeve offers space for Olympic plates, giving you flexibility to adjust the load for different exercises.

Compact Design for Independent Use

At 54.5 inches long, this curl bar is easy to incorporate into a home gym setup. It has 31.5 inches between the sleeves and is not designed to be rackable on a standard power rack.

Use an appropriate setup for loading, lifting and storing the bar. The included spring collars help hold your plates in place during training.

The rated capacity is the bar’s load limit, not the amount of weight guaranteed to fit on its sleeves. Available loading space depends on plate thickness and collar placement.
